The Balfour Declaration, an on air safari

This is a series of twelve 15 minute radio programmes commissioned by Flame CCR (community radio) to recognise the 100 year Anniversary of the 1917 Balfour Declaration which stated the UK Government’s understanding that the Jewish people have a right to their own land. The series starts with Biblical analysis, covers the historical period from 1st Century to 19th Century, and provides a Christian commentary to 20th Century events. Details of the series are below.

The series is being broadcast on Flame CCR in Merseyside and West Cheshire on 1521 medium wave, on DAB in the City of Manchester and worldwide via the internet www.flameradio.org. All programmes are also accessible to listen and download on LISTEN AGAIN via www.flameradio.org. The broadcast times are
* starting Monday 21st August – at 21:30 weekdays
* starting Thursday 12th October – at 10:30 weekdays
* Saturday 2nd November … all parts broadcast during the day
